The word 'skin' is central to the entire production process. Therefore, we opted for PVC as the primary material. I began by testing various types of plastic, such as PVC. Initially, we dyed them, simulated prints, heat-pressed them, and used foiling techniques to create the illusion of human skin. Particularly in the heat-pressing phase, different thicknesses of plastic required testing at various times and temperatures. The optimal conditions we discovered were 180 degrees Celsius for 5 seconds.

Coffee was additionally utilised as a dyeing agent to investigate the diverse alterations and irregularities in texture and appearance that manifest in the material. I also conducted experiments on bioplastics to fashion accessories. The primary components employed in crafting bioplastic were gelatine and glycerine. Gelatine and glycerine were boiled in a pot, then cooled before being poured onto cling wrap. Once the mixture dries and solidifies, smaller pieces are torn and arranged atop the body of the bioplastic to produce an organic texture.
